Starliners
Starliners is an incremental space management game about expanding humanity across the Solar System. Players manage deliveries between planets and moons to maintain supply chains, develop increasingly complex technologies, and unlock new worlds to explore and colonize. The ultimate goal is to gather the resources and technologies needed to build an Ark and carry humanity beyond the Solar System.

- Manage a growing fleet and coordinate interplanetary deliveries
- Build interconnected supply chains and increasingly complex industries
- Unlock technologies across multiple fields of science
- Automate parts of your logistics as your civilization grows
- Construct the Ark and take humanity beyond the Solar System
Gameplay
Starliners combines the progression of incremental games with the logistics and supply chains of factory management games. Unlike traditional incremental games, progression relies on actively managing deliveries between worlds and coordinating a growing fleet of ships. As the civilization expands, players can either remain actively involved in managing their logistics or unlock technologies that automate parts of the process and allow for a more passive experience.
The game sits between incremental and supply chain management games, offering a more interactive experience than traditional incremental games while keeping its logistics systems approachable and relatively relaxed.
Progression
The game's progression is divided into three broad stages:
1. Exploration
Discover new planets and expand humanity's reach across the Solar System.
2. Colonization
Establish and industrialize colonies, developing the infrastructure needed to make each world part of a larger interplanetary network.
3. The Ark
Bring together the resources and technologies of the entire civilization to construct the Ark and prepare humanity to leave the Solar System.
Visual Direction
Starliners uses a deliberately minimalist visual style to represent the scale of a growing civilization. Human presence is represented primarily through light, with colonies and infrastructure gradually illuminating the Solar System as the player expands.
Influences
Starliners draws from two traditionally distinct genres: incremental games such as Cookie Clicker and Universal Paperclips, and factory and supply chain games such as Factorio and Shapez. The game combines their focus on long-term progression and optimization with a more relaxed and contemplative presentation.
